Servicemen on duty, together with the military police unit, trained to eliminate a commando group of the mock enemy in an attempt to seize a joint Russian-Armenian command post during a bilateral battalion tactical exercise in Armenia at the Baghramyan training ground.
The guards of the control points at the Baghramyan training ground, together with the military police unit, trained to detect the intruders, repel the attack and block the mock enemy’s group. The military used simulation tools, smoke bombs and blank ammunition.
About 2,000 military personnel and more than 300 pieces of military special equipment were involved in a tactical exercise led by Colonel Vladimir Elkanov and the commander of the joint force grouping Major General Tigran Parvanyan.
