PM Khan embarks on second China visit to attend Belt and Road Forum

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for his second state visit to China on Thursday to take part in the second Belt and Road Forum.

The Forum begins in Beijing on Friday.

PM Khan will deliver a keynote speech in the opening ceremony of the Forum followed by Leaders’ Round Table discussion. He will also hold bilateral talks with the Chinese leadership during his four-day visit.

Another prominent feature of Imran Khan’s visit to Beijing will be the signing of the second phase of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and China, Radio Pakistan reported.

In addition, PM Khan will hold hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend Beijing International Horticulture Exhibition-2019 and address Pakistan Trade and Investment Conference in Beijing.
