ABBOTTABAD – Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa installed Lieutenant General Aamir Abbasi as Colonel Commandant of FF Regiment on Tuesday.
The military chief visited Frontier Force Regimental Centre, Abbottabad and attended a ceremony in this regard.
Outgoing Colonel of FF Regiment Lieutenant General Ghayur Mahmood Awan, Retd, and a large number of serving and retired officers and soldiers graced the occasion.
Upon arrival, the military chief laid floral wreath at martyrs monument. COASappreciated the contributions and sacrifices of FF Regiment for the defence of the motherland during conventional as well as in the war against terrorism.
