U.S. military helicopters hit the links ahead of Trump’s visit

The U.S. military on May 22 conducted a fly-through operation over Tokyo ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Japan later this week.

Five military helicopters, including one that will likely be used to carry the president, repeatedly landed and took off at the Akasaka Press Center operated by the U.S. Army for 25 minutes from 1:10 p.m.

They then headed to a golf course in Chiba Prefecture where Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plan to hit some balls together.

Trump will visit Japan as a state guest from May 25 to 28.
