As many as eight hundred and twenty prisoners have been released in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the direction of Prime Minister in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr.
These prisoners have completed their sentence but could not pay fine.
The provincial governments paid 270 million in respect of fine of these prisoners yesterday.
