Canada has announced to temporarily suspend its embassy in Venezuela.
The announcement has made after Venezuelan President issued an ultimatum following a letter to Canada, Latin American and Caribbean countries declaring Maduro’s election undemocratic and illegitimate.
Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland said his country will provide consular assistance to its citizen in Venezuela through its embassy in Colombia.
