Parts of Edinburgh’s city centre will close this weekend as Armed Forces Day 2019 comes to town.
A military marching parade has been organised to honour those who have served in the armed forcesdown the years.
The parade will start at Charlotte Square and end at the other end of George Street at St Andrew Squareon Saturday morning.
There will also be a host of military charity stalls set up at St Andrew Square in a bid to raise awareness of causes and services set up to support the armed forces.
