Ethan (18) and Lewis Gibson (16) are going to South Africa in July to help build a school with the Forces Children’s Trust.
The charity supports kids whose mum or dad has died, or sustained life-changing injuries, while serving as a member of the Armed Forces.
It hosts parties, runs outdoor adventure holidays, offers counselling advice, and gives bereaved children the opportunity to come together to help others in remote areas of the world.
Lewis said the charity helped him through the toughest of times after his mum’s death eight years ago – she was in the military police.
