Russia’s grouping in the Azov Sea was reinforced by a small anti-submarine “Yeisk” navy of the Russian Federation. According to the “Ukrainian Military Portal” , on the eve of the ship passed the arch of the bridge near Kerch in the direction of the Azov Sea.
The portal notes that “Yeisk” was launched in 1989 at the Leninsky Smith Factory (“Smith on Rybalsky”) in Kyiv. After the start of the movement, Russian border guards began to persecute Ukrainian ships, and then they used weapons, attacking them. The ships were captured, and 24 crew members were captured..
Subsequently, so-called courts in the annexed Crimea arrested them for two months. After that, the seamen were taken to a SIZO in Moscow . They are all accused of allegedly illegally crossing the Russian border. Later all Ukrainian sailors recognized themselves as prisoners of war in Russia.
