KARACHI: Security forces on Wednesday have arrested three protesting nurses as their sit-in outside Karachi’s Press Club entered seventh day.
According to details, the situation intensified after failed negotiations between protesters and additional secretary health. The nurses have warned of continuing their sit-in until the issue of notification.
They have also started march towards Governor House for fulfilment of their demands.
Meanwhile, heavy contingent of police arrived at the scene and barred the protesters from moving forward by blocking their route with barriers. However, three nurses were also detained during the faceoff.
