The Iranian forces are observing all US ships in the Gulf and it has an archive of their moments in the region, said the head of Iran’s navy, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi.
“We observe all enemy ships, particularly (those of) America, point-by-point from their origin until the moment they enter the region,” Khanzadi said, according to the Young Journalists Club news site.
He noted that the images were obtained via surveillance drones.
“We have complete images and a large archive of the daily and moment-by-moment traffic of the coalition forces and America.”
The remarks come amid increasing tensions between Tehran and the US. Washington has already deployed massive strike group aircraft carries in the gulf and bombers just outside Iran.
