Afghan troops suffered heavy casualties during Taliban attack in Kunduz’s Imam Sahib district.
At least 13 Afghan soldiers were killed and five others were wounded in a Taliban attack on a military base in Kunduz province on Tuesday evening, a source said on Wednesday.
The incident happened on Tuesday night after a group of Taliban fighters attacked a military base in Arbabkhel village of Imam Sahib district, according to a source, who did not provide further details.
Local military officials and the Ministry of Defense have not yet commented on the clash.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
