Tehran, Dec 2, IRNA –  Director of IRISL’s for Bulk Cargo Mohammad Reza Banaei said on Monday that Iran is planning to launch a new two-way shipping line mainly for the shipment of general cargoes from Iran to the east of Mediterranean.

Despite tough economic sanctions on the country’s sea transportation, Safiran Darya Shipping line (Sepid) is to launch a new shipping line mainly for shipment of general cargoes to help promote the country’s exports.

The new shipping line will be engaged both in imports and exports of goods and products, he said.
