Four soldiers were hurt after the military truck carrying them fell into a 5-meter ravine in Tanauan, Batangas on Wednesday morning. The military truck was part of a convoy heading to Laurel town to deliver relief goods to the victims of the recent eruption of the Taal Volcano, Lt. Col. Joseph Manangan, commander of the Philippine Army Support Command, said. He added that the truck tried to avoid a tricycle on a slippery part of the road causing it to fall into the ravine.
