A fake video of policemen apprehending a man and removing his turban has been circulating on social media in the context of anti-CAA protests. Madhu Purnima Kishwar and Union Minister Giriraj Singh and many right-wing social media handles have shared it claiming the guy pictured is a Muslim in a Sikh turban. They have claimed that the man was a Muslim impersonating as a member of the Sikh community. “Muslim are wearing turbans during anti-CAA protest to falsely portray that Sikhs are protesting.
