Indian Forces Open Fire At AJK Rally, 3 Injured

MUZAFFARABAD: At least 3 people were injured when Indian forces opened fire at a procession near Madarpur bridge on Tuesday.

Reports gathered by the Regional Telegraph revealed that locals in large number had taken out a procession to observe martyrdom anniversary of Maqbool Butt Shaheed.

The rally was fired at by Indian forces when it reached near Madarpur bridge, close to the Line of Control. Two vehicles carrying participants of the procession received direct hit, as a result of which at least 3 people were injured. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the number of those injured could be as high as twelve.

Two of those injured in the Indian firing were rushed to Rawla Kot hospital for urgent treatment as their condition was reported as critical.
