Korea’s Vision to Inspire APEC in a Time of Uncertainty
As this year’s chair of APEC and host of the leader’s meeting in Gyeongju Oct. 31–Nov. 1, the Republic of Korea is uniquely positioned to shepherd APEC through some of the greatest challenges it has faced in its 36-year history.
That is because it embodies the very principles that guide APEC, writes Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun: ‘Resilience through crisis, progress through openness and strength through co-operation.’
